Andrew Allsgood has been representing the more left field sounds of electronic and dance music as a DJ for the past 12 years.
Andrew has been collecting records since a child and has managed to feed his obsession with music through jobs at records shops through high school and college and now with an independent distributor.
Deep house, disco, electro, funk, soul, reggae, techno, jazz, rock……..you may hear it all in an Allsgood set! From pure party vibes to deep, dark, druggy warehouse flashbacks riding a disco pogo stick…….. if he is playing it is ALL GOOD. Andrew’s ability to raise the room temperature up when he is behind the decks has accounted for many a sweaty dance-floor over the last 12 years.
Andrew has held down various residencies in Toronto since 99 as well as playing loads of one off’s, warehouse parties and his monthly, anything goes extravaganza, Fascination alongside Toronto vet DJ Mike Tull as the Tn’A Soundsystem.
Toronto’s Truffle imprint released his first 12”, (Disco) Pigs In Space last year and his second release, Raise It On Down will follow on Truffle in March and there are loads more edits and originals in the pipeline!
